Voices Against Violence: Giving forgettable petitions a powerful new voice.
The Senate voted against common sense gun laws, ignoring the voice of 90% of Americans. We had to do something more than create another petition that you sign with a 'click' and forget about two seconds later.
We launched an entirely new platform that enabled people to feel like they were actively taking a stand.
Introducing: the world's first petition you sign with your voice, and the invention of the Voice Signature.
RESULTS:
1,000 voices a day were raised to Congress.
Celebrities like Jim Carey, Tony Bennet and even Paul McCartney participated.
“My voice matters.” One common phrase. Thousands of unique voice signatures.
AWARDS:
D&AD
One Show Interactive
Webby Awards
The New York Festival
Art Director’s Club

The online and iOS experience allowed users to record a simple phrase and watch it transform into a unique, 3D voice signature.

The signature could easily be shared, turned into your social profile image, and used to sign the petition.

A simple slider allowed users to not only see how many voices were raised, but also, how many voices had been lost to gun violence.
