A Girl Story: Helping young girls get the education they deserve.
A Girl Story was the world's first donation-based film series starring Tarla -- a girl who dreams of an education. Her story only progresses when users donate, unlocking new chapters in a seamless chain of YouTube videos.
The project received recognition from creativity, mashable, adage, and others. But most importantly, this work helped support 10 years of education for 58,000 young girls growing up in India.
RESULTS:
Financial goal reached within the first week
58,000 young girls received education support
This effort was truly a labor of love for all involved, including our animation partners, Little Red Robot, and fellow creatives, Corinna Falusi (CCO Birthday, ex-Mother), Maite Albuquerque (AD), David Orton (Design), Esteban Montes (AD), and producer, Margaux Ravis.

How it works: Each chapter of Tarla’s story is locked by a donation threshold. Only when enough donations are made can Tarla’s journey continue. Until then, Tarla, much like many girls in India, are caught in an endless loop of chores and inequity.
Fortunately, Tarla’s story has a happy ending, and ultimately receives the education she deserves.
